Local pour · checked 2026-09-03
Nashville's local pour runs on two tracks: Tennessee whiskey at the bar, and oysters with cheap beer once the clock hits 3. Downtown, the Gulch, Germantown, and East Nashville each post their own version. Every window and price below comes from the venue's own page.
Oyster hour is real here
The Southern Steak & Oyster (150 3rd Avenue South, downtown) posts oyster happy hour daily 3–5 with $7 wine and $25 a dozen Shucker's Choice oysters. In the Gulch, Marsh House (401 11th Avenue South) posts Monday–Friday 5–7 with a $1.50 Happiest Oyster, a $3 High Life 7oz pony, $9 Happier Wine, a $5 Happiest Chambong, and an $11 Good Samaritan, plus $8 fried boudin balls and $12 crawfish ravioli. In Germantown, Henrietta Red (1200 4th Avenue North) posts Tuesday–Sunday 5–6 with a $2 Chef Select Oyster, $10 classic cocktails, $7 draft beer, and $7 BTG cava and still rosé — plus Saturday–Sunday 1–2 with an $8 mimosa.
Whiskey country, beer prices
The pour behind all of this is Tennessee whiskey. The state's distillers run the Tennessee Whiskey Trail, a guild project tying working distilleries to tours and tastings — the reason a whiskey-first bar list feels like home turf here. The Gulch prices it for weeknights: STK Nashville (700 12th Avenue South) posts a $3 | $6 | $9 Happy Hour, Monday–Friday 2:30–6:30 and Saturday–Sunday 2:30–5:30, with late hours Sunday–Thursday 9–11 and Friday–Saturday 10–midnight. Across the river, Cafe Roze (1115 Porter Road, East Nashville) posts Salt & Spirit Monday–Friday 4–6: $9 martinis (Classic, Tuxedo No. 2, Martinez), $7 prosecco and sparkling rosé, $8 sparkling lambrusco, $2 oysters, $5 crudité, and $3 French fries.
